About Me

LauraDDances is a Freelance Inclusive Dance Artist influenced by Hip Hop and Contemporary Dance, taking inspiration from different aspects of dance, like Waacking, Lockin', Dancehall as well as different genres of Performing Arts - Music, Film, Theatre and Spoken Word.

As an artist, she is collaborative and aims to be Inclusive in her practice, as a teacher, workshop leader and creative, with a keen interest in Sign Language and Audio Description - with the questions of - How these means of basic communication can be incorporated into works to reach different audiences to be inclusive.

Always open to collaboration and trying new things, she delves deeper into passions that are close to her heart, including creating inclusive work, fundraising for the MS Society UK and documenting/film making.

Creating her own work, she hopes to bring together artists from all backgrounds, any art form to collaborate and work together to create interesting, innovative and inspiring work - always looking for collaborators who share a love for what they do and with mutual interests of creating new work - regardless of gender, ethnic background or sexuality - as long as open dialogue means communication can lead to share artistic visions.

I am not trying to be an inspiration, just looking to find like minded people who can share in creating something awesome!
