Glass Sands are an alternative rock three-piece based out of East London. Formed just last year, the group already have already released one album and their style – which mixes art rock, psychedelic and Krautrock – will shake audiences to the core.

Ify is an upcoming vocalist, performer and entertainer. She performs originals and covers in the styles of Soul, Blues & RnB. She has performed at a range of venues from small intimate settings to larger audiences with over 2,000 people. Some of which include the 02 Academy Islington, Under The Bridge, The Cavendish Arms and Shepherd Bush Empire and is working towards the release of her first EP in the new year

The Outers are a London based indie rock/post punk band with original music. Natasha has been practicing belly dance, or raqs sharki, for 10 years with various teachers across the UK. She particularly loves the folkloric dances from Egypt, El Sham (Lebanon, Palestine, Syria) and the Arabian Gulf, and golden era dance style and technique.

Natasha will be performing 'baladi' style, rooted in Egypt, it can be translated as 'of the country'. An earthy and rich style, with a touch of Egyptian cheekiness, this performance will get you cheering along and drawn in to its heartfelt moments!

Maria Miguel Rodrigues is a London based choreographer and performer who has been creating dance work in the past 3 years. Taking her work to venues such as Barbican Centre, The Place and Tripspace and leading movement workshops at Siobhan Davies Dance, Rich Mix and Zielone Kregi Festival in Poland'

NOW stems out of repetition and interval in a present body. Techno's sonic layers are offering a freer manner to explore time and its perception. Through the performing body, the unpredictable shifting between internal and external bodily awareness is highlighted.

Margot Przymierska is a performer, producer and ad hoc Talkaoke host at The People Speak. Her collaboration with artist Nicholas Morgan (Przymierska Morgan) resulted in a series of performative explorations across genres (live art, character comedy, film) presented at Battersea Arts Centre, Betsey Trotwood and as part of a research projects on translanguaging by Birkbeck University.

We provide regular  classes; deliver dance in education, care, and community settings; and we create imaginative bespoke dance projects. We want to support everyone to achieve their dancing ambitions!
