An eclectic programme of dance music performances celebrating the release of the track Finding My Strength song written by JK featuring Laura Dajao

LauraDDances has
worked as a Box Office Assistant at Rich Mix Cultural Foundation Centre for years (since 2008) – a hub of creativity, diverse programming and a centre integral to
engaging the local community and international professional creatives through
the arts.

With an eclectic programme of diverse arts, she brought together, rock bands: Glass Sands, The Outers (Front of House) singer songwriter: Ify (Front of house - now Private Hires), a belly dancer: Natasha Clark (Programming Coordinator) performance artist: Margot Przymierska (Young People’s, Family and community contemporary Producer) contemporary dance: Maria Miguel Rodrigues and special guests Step Change Studios, a company committed to making Latin/ballroom dance accessible:- all united to raise money for the MS Society UK.
LauraDDances believes that Art can heal; this is evident in the main purpose of this event i.e. the release of the song Finding My Strength. This song is a collaboration of Rich Mix Staff members Junior Williams and Laura Dajao produced by Simon Kusnierek. The Song was written specifically for a dance piece LauraDDances created based on her personal circumstances of losing her leg. Click here for more information
This event marked the online release of the song on Wednesday 13th December 2017, to stores like iTunes and Amazon Music and has been released to the music charts. All of the proceeds of the release will go to the MS Society UK via Laura’s JustGiving Page.
